Velma

We lost Velma tragically to an illness called myocarditis caused by a viral, or bacterial infection when her puppies were just turning 4 weeks old. We are beyond heartsick and she can never be replaced. Her puppies were her gift to us as she could not tell us she was so sick. She leaves her legacy in these sweet daughters, Spirit and Vega. No better mother walked this earth because she made sure her puppies could make it after she departed. Velma, I wish I could have said goodbye to you in old age as you deserved that and more. Rest in that beautiful garden I know you are taking a sunny snooze in and one day we will see each other again.

Velma's trip to Maine

@ 2 1/2 years

Velma was out of Bindi's 1st litter by CH Paradocs Delians Scrubbing In, Scrubs. I had high hopes for this girl as an asset to my breeding program and she was able to bless us with one very fine litter of six blacks out of, Memphis, GRCH Premiere's Ice Cold and Hot Wired. Velma was such an easy personality to live with; just went about what she needed to do without ruffling any feathers and was a delightful dog in every way. Some dogs are born with an inexplicable ability to adapt and really read one's mind...Velma had that in spades.
